Kia Manawanui Whanaungatanga team building

WALT Reflect on week 4 Team building

Last week we have been learning about whanaungatanga, whanaungatanga is when you contribute, participate in activities as a team. I learnt that it's also about working as a team, working collaboratively and communicate to get the activity done.
Whanaungatanga is value that means building positive relationship.

I have improved my Hauora. My metaphor for Hauora is a Tongan flag. It is about Physical is when you go to the the gym, eat healthy and go for a run. Spiritual about helping someone, being a role model, trying new things and relating to others. Social means relationships, friends and family. Emotions/feelings is when your angry and happy.Hauora is fun because it can help you on your well being.
I enjoyed the sleep over because it helped me overcome my shyness because we had to make a skit to perform in front of Kia Manawanui. I enjoyed it because we were getting along, getting to know everyone. It was fun cause we were communicating.
Then we had our whanau join us for dinner and for Raymond's dads birthday, he was turning 40 years old.
I have enjoyed the sleep over because we were working as a team.
YMCA pools was fun because everyone gets along together and everyone just stayed in the group that we were told  because some of us didn't feel condfibal with people who you didn't want to be with. It was exiting because we had activities and it was about swimming back and forwards. We had free time it was cool because we got to play sports and racing.

What can you work on?
I am going to be working on my listening and participate in a group.

What I found challenging?

What I found challenging was the activities at school because we had to make a skit, a name group and chart for our name, It was hard because some of us were talking but not working on the task.

What have you learnt?
I have learned to listen to everybody's idea in a group.

Week 4 was an exciting week because we learned alot about whanaungatanga, it means building positive relationship.
